I, the founder of Salty Vets, am a Veteran with deep roots in the water. Growing up in Crystal River, Florida, I had my first boat at the age of 10 and spent every day on the water. After high school, I worked at a power plant in the nuclear division for two years. In 2006, I decided to join the military, where I served in Air Defense Artillery, working with ground-to-air missiles. During my time in service, I deployed twice to South Korea and once to Afghanistan.In 2013, I transitioned out of active duty and continued my service in the reserves as a wrecker mechanic until 2017. That year, I pursued my passion for the water and earned my Captain's License, launching Salty Vets to offer inshore and offshore fishing charters and private captain services.
